20. Something Blue (BTVS – S4E09)
Whatever Willow says comes true in this hilarious episode – it is impossible not to love the incredibly unlikely sight of Buffy and Spike as loved-up fiancees AKA Mr and Mrs Big Pile of Dust.
19. I Will Remember You (ANG – S1E08)
The episode from either series that best sums up Buffy and Angel’s doomed romance, as Angel becomes human but his responsibilities to the world mean it can’t stay that way.
18. Earshot (BTVS – S3E18)
Buffy gains the ability to read minds in one of season three’s many masterclass episodes. It’s so cleverly-written, effortlessly switching between comedy to some really dark stuff. Thematically-rich, too.
17. Tabula Rasa (BTVS – S6E08)
After the massive revelations of ‘Once More With Feeling’, the Scoobies have their minds wiped in the number three funniest Buffy episode. “Why not call me Desperate-For-A-Shag Giles?”
16. The Zeppo (BTVS – S3E13)
As Buffy and the rest of the Scoobies foil an attempted apocalypse, Xander has the strangest night of his life. A hilarious and so so clever self-parody of a normal Buffy episode.
