Titans Live-Action Show Coming to DC-Only Digital Service

The Teen Titans are coming to live-action TV – only the show will air on a new streaming service dedicated to DC…

 

The show will be called Titans and is exec produced by Arrowverse creator Greg Berlanti, DC head honcho Geoff Johns and Akiva Goldman (screenwriter of Batman Forever/Batman & Robin). It will air on a brand-new DC-focused digital service run by Warner Bros. Digital Networks Group. It promises to “deliver an immersive experience designed just for DC fans.”

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.

It has also been revealed that Young Justice season three will also air on the DC online service. The season will be titled Young Justice: Outsiders. Here’s the synopsis for it:

In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly-anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.

Both shows are expected to arrive in 2018.
