Here’s the newly-revealed synopsis, which teases the hero’s conflicted loyalties:
Aquaman finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans who are ready to revolt.
Alongside Momoa, Aquaman features an all-star cast including Amber Heard (Mera), Nicole Kidman (Atlanna), Patrick Wilson (Ocean Master), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta), Willem Dafoe (Vulko) and Dolph Lundgren (Nereus) with Djimon Hounsou (Fisherman King).
As the poster promises, Aquaman splashes onto cinemas screens on 21st December.
