The Onderan rebel is set to appear on Star Wars Rebels and in the process tie the events of the series to the recently released Rogue One.
It has been known for awhile that Saw Gerrera was making an appearance in Rogue One, but now it is has been confirmed that he will also appear in the Star Wars Rebels series two parter “Ghosts of Geonosis” airing January 7th, 2017 and will be voiced by the same actor, Forest Whitaker. This connects the series to Rogue One, adding further continuity between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope as well as giving insight into how the Rebels find out about the Death Star.
