Synopsis: The gang from Danny Boyle’s hard-hitting 1997 movie about drug addiction return twenty years later. Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle are back.
Kong: Skull Island

Synopsis: The Eighth Wonder of the World gets yet another reboot. This time it is set on his home island. Features an all-star cast; Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson ETC.

Synopsis: Jacob Tremblay (Room) stars as a facially-disfigured boy in an adaptation of the touching 2011 novel of the same name. Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson also feature.

Synopsis: Fast and Furious 8 (also known as The Fate of the Furious) sees Vin Diesel’s Dom is turned to the dark side by Charlize Theron’s villain. Can Luke and the others get him back?
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
Released: May 12th
Synopsis: Guy Ritchie reimagines Arthurian mythology for the 21st century. Charlie Hunnam is the once and future king, Jude Law is the villain and David Beckham (!) appears in a cameo.

Synopsis: Bye Brendan Fraser, Tom Cruise takes over the reigns of The Mummy franchise for this reboot. This time it’s a female mummy, as played by Star Trek Beyond’s Sofia Boutella.
Dunkirk

Synopsis: Christopher Nolan’s latest film sees him do a war movie. The director’s old favourites – Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy – return, as well as new faces like Mark Rylance and Harry Styles (!).

Synopsis: The terrifying clown made famous by Tim Curry is remade, with Bill Skarsgard in the title role. Funnily enough, Finn Wolfhard – from the similar Stranger Things – also features.
