35 Must-See Movies Coming Out in 2017

There are loads of awesome-sounding movies coming out this year. We’ve whittled it down to those you absolutely have to see…

 

SUPERHERO

 

The LEGO Batman Movie

Released: February 10th

Synopsis: The breakout star of The LEGO Movie gets his own movie. Will Arnett plays the Dark Mini-Fig, with Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon and Zack Galifianakis.

 

Logan

Released: March 3rd

Synopsis: Hugh Jackman makes his final appearance as Wolverine, in a stripped-back character-driven road movie. Patrick Stewart also reprises his role as Charles Xavier.

 

Power Rangers

Released: March 24th

Synopsis: Those mighty morphin’ heroes are back in this darker reboot of the 90s classic children’s show. Look out for Bryan Cranston as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa.

 

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Released: May 5th

Synopsis: Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot and co return for this follow-up to the smash-hit first movie. Not too much is known about the plot, but expect Baby Groot toys to be everywhere.

 

Wonder Woman

Released: June 2nd

Synopsis: The Amazing Amazonian at last gets her own solo movie. Gal Gadot leads the cast of the WW1- set origins story that also includes Chris Pine as love interest Steve Trevor.

 

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Released: July 7th

Synopsis: After his fan-favourite debut in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland gets his own solo film. Also features former Batman Michael Keaton, Donald Glover and Robert Downey Jr.

 

Thor: Ragnarok

Released: November 3rd

Synopsis: Thor teams up with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk for a space-set road movie. Expect lots of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and an appearance from Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

 

Justice League

Released: November 17th

Synopsis: Superman. Batman. Wonder Woman. The Flash. Aquaman. Cyborg. The Justice League unite for the first time on the big screen next year. Stop right there, I’m in!
