Trini Kwan (Yellow Ranger #1)

Mighty Morphin is always applauded for including two girls on the team (in Super Sentai, the Yellow Ranger is a male) and Trini was a smart, integral member of the group.
Jason Lee Scott (Red Ranger #1)

Jason was the team’s stereotypical square-jawed good guy leader, but that made him all the more likeable. You have to feel sorry for him when Tommy comes along and steals his thunder.
Billy Cranston (Blue Ranger)

The only Ranger to last the entire show, Billy was a personal favourite of this nerdy kid who liked the colour blue and triceratops. The resident techie, the team wouldn’t have been able to function without him.
Kimberley Hart (Pink Ranger #1)

What Mighty Morphin’ fan doesn’t love Kimberley? She was a feminist icon for girl viewers everywhere and the first crush of every boy viewer. Only one other Ranger has a bigger legacy…
Tommy Oliver (Green/White Ranger)

Ah, Tommy! The longest-serving Ranger ever had the best arc on the show, as he went from Rita’s evil pawn to team leader. Plus, he had two awesome suits. What more can you want?

There was a second pink ranger!!!???
The only change I would make is bill moves to number 1. That’s simply cause I was a triceratops fan as a kid so the blue ranger had my heart…. well technically kimberley did but I always wanted to be the blue ranger… and date the pink one ofc.
Great list! Very nostalgic!!

I know right! Who knew?
Ha! I’m with you on that one. Billy was my favourite as well at the time but, looking back, Tommy was the coolest.
Thanks!

I had a dislike for Tommy cause I didn’t think he deserved kimberley. That being said he was pretty cool. I may have been jealous.
Let Billy and kimberley be together and Tommy can get the pink ranger mark II.

Ha I think jealousy might have come into play there… Yeah, let’s rewrite the canon!
Are you interested in the movie reboot that’s coming up this year?
