13. The Zeppo
As Buffy and the rest of the Scoobies foil an attempted apocalypse, Xander has the strangest night of his life. A hilarious and so so clever self-parody of a normal Buffy episode. 9.5/10
14. Bad Girls
Buffy gets tempted by Faith’s ‘living on the wild side’ attitude in a decent episode, though there’s a poor monster and Buffy’s a bit out of character. That said, things get dark and dramatic by the end. 8/10
15. Consequences
Faith goes off the deep end in this heavy-going, dramatic episode. It’s tragic to see her slip through the gang’s fingers as they each try, but fail, to set her on the right track. 8.5/10
16. Doppelgangland
It’s a tough one to pick but I think this has to be the finest comedy Buffy episode of the lot. I find a new favourite line every time I watch it. Plus, who doesn’t love Vamp Willow? 9.5/10
17. Enemies
Faith and the Mayor set their sights on converting Angel to their evil cause. A really underrated episode, this, that has not one but two great twists. The story arc is really kicking into gear now.
9/10
18. Earshot
Buffy gains the ability to read minds in yet another masterclass episode. It’s so cleverly written, effortlessly switching between comedy to some really dark stuff. Thematically-rich, too. 9.5/10

Season 3 of Buffy is my favorite due to the introduction of Faith and Anya.

Same! They’re two of the show’s best characters.
