Ultron
Only Joss Whedon could create this quip-happy robo-Stark. The great dialogue and James Spader’s modulated tones elevated Ultron to be one of the MCU’s best villains.
Vulture
Maybe it’s because he is fresh in our memories, but Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s Vulture has flown straight to the top few of our list. Michael Keaton was terrific as a very relatable villain.
Wilson Fisk
Vincent D’Onofrio blew (nearly) all the competition away in Daredevil season one, as an unexpectedly-layered take on the Man Without Fear’s worst enemy the Kingpin.
Kilgrave
Brr, Jessica Jones‘ tormentor Kilgrave (as chillingly and charismatically played by David Tennant) still makes us shiver. A serial rapist with the terrifying power of mind control.
Loki
There can only be one villain at the top of our list, though. No other MCU antagonist has the sheer watchability of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief. Can’t wait to see him again in Thor: Ragnarok!
