Nick Fury returns, with Samuel L. Jackson starring in this adaptation of the seminal comic book arc which involves the shapeshifting Skrulls infiltrating Earth. Captain Marvel‘s Ben Mendelsohn is also back as Talos.
I Am Groot (Animated)
A series of animated shorts that will follow the adventures of the adorable Baby Groot and “several new and unusual characters.” Release date unknown.
Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Ahead of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will finally arrive in 2023, a holiday TV special starring the cast from the movies will land on Disney Plus in 2022. This will be filmed during production on Vol. 3.
