Comment: Well, there’s a turnout! Adding together their nascent movie universe, their many animated films and their established TV shows, fans have proclaimed that DC produced the superior content in 2016. Still, it was a close run thing, as Marvel still managed 41%. Maybe next year, Marvel, maybe next year.

How did DC beat Marvel?? IMO there wasn’t a DC movie, this year, that was great – they all felt like money rackers that were made for the hype as they all felt a bit sloppy and meh

Yeah, I was also shocked at this result! I agree with you about DC’s live-action movies this year. On the other hand, they did have a good year for TV and a decent one for their animated movies. Still, Marvel was solid in every area so I think they deserved to win.
