Comment: DC released four movies in cinemas this year, but two of them were animated movies with limited releases. As such, this was basically a two-horse race between BvS and Suicide Squad. Interestingly, BvS was the clear winner – though not by as large a margin as Civil War.

How did DC beat Marvel?? IMO there wasn’t a DC movie, this year, that was great – they all felt like money rackers that were made for the hype as they all felt a bit sloppy and meh

Yeah, I was also shocked at this result! I agree with you about DC’s live-action movies this year. On the other hand, they did have a good year for TV and a decent one for their animated movies. Still, Marvel was solid in every area so I think they deserved to win.
