Reviewing Smallville (Season Six)

13. Crimson

Finally Lois and Clark get together… unfortunately it’s only because they are dosed with red Kryptonite. A thoroughly entertaining hour that should have major repercussions going forward.
9/10

14. Trespass

Oh goody, another creep who’s obsessed with Lana. This one’s full of horror cliches and has a predictable twist. Ah well, at least Lana finally knows that Clark has a secret. 7/10

15. Freak

Lex is secretly using a blind meteor freak who can detect other freaks for his evil experiments. A decent one that goes to some interesting, unexpected places. Michael Rosenbaum directed.
8/10

16. Promise

Lex and Lana’s wedding day told from three different points of view: Clark, Lex and Lana. 100% soap opera but, boy, was this one dramatic. The Luthors were at their machiavellian best here.
9/10

17. Combat

One of those ‘fight club’ episodes that every genre show has. So-So, though it was good to see Lois again after several episodes. More interesting is Lex and Lana’s baby tragedy. 7.5/10

18. Progeny

Chloe’s mother is finally revealed – and it’s only Lynda ‘Wonder Woman’ Carter! The best moment is when Clark hesitates before saving Lex’s life. Also, the truth of Lana’s pregnancy is revealed. 8/10
