12. Batman Begins, Hans Zimmer
Each of the Dark Knight movies has a subtly different central theme, but I’m plumping for the Batman Begins version here, as I just think it has the most memorable rhythm.
11. Magneto’s Theme in X-Men: First Class, Henry Jackman
Let’s forget the heroes for a moment and cast the spotlight on this terrific villain theme. Michael Fassbender’s young Magneto is so full of rage and this piece gets that across perfectly.
10. Spider-Man 3, Christopher Young
Regardless of the quality of Spider-Man 3, I think Christopher Young did a great job embellishing Danny Elfman’s music, adding the really catchy Sandman and Venom themes to the mix.
9. Captain America: The First Avenger, Alan Silvestri
Back to the Future’s Alan Silvestri first proved himself as the MCU’s best composer with his brilliant militaristic theme for the superhero war movie Captain America: The First Avenger.
