Comment: There was only going to be one winner here. With so many heroes stuffed into it, Civil War was every Marvel fan’s favourite movie this year. That said, I am surprised that Deadpool didn’t give it a closer run for its money. There’s not much in it between Doctor Strange and Apocalypse but the former just nudges it.

How did DC beat Marvel?? IMO there wasn’t a DC movie, this year, that was great – they all felt like money rackers that were made for the hype as they all felt a bit sloppy and meh

Yeah, I was also shocked at this result! I agree with you about DC’s live-action movies this year. On the other hand, they did have a good year for TV and a decent one for their animated movies. Still, Marvel was solid in every area so I think they deserved to win.
