Comment: Fans were so impressed with both Tim Miller’s work on Deadpool and Joe and Anthony Russo’s work on Civil War that they couldn’t choose between them. Meanwhile, Zack Snyder was a solid runner-up. Unfortunately, David Ayer wasn’t a favourite for Suicide Squad as he came away with the smallest number of votes of any nominee in any category.

How did DC beat Marvel?? IMO there wasn’t a DC movie, this year, that was great – they all felt like money rackers that were made for the hype as they all felt a bit sloppy and meh

Yeah, I was also shocked at this result! I agree with you about DC’s live-action movies this year. On the other hand, they did have a good year for TV and a decent one for their animated movies. Still, Marvel was solid in every area so I think they deserved to win.
