Comment: This one was a close one, but ultimately – despite the backlash against him – Jesse Eisenberg’s, um, unique take on Lex Luthor came out top, leaving Civil War‘s Zemo to take second place. We have also definitely established by now that X-Men: Apocalypse is everyone’s least favourite Marvel movie of the year. Even Doctor Strange‘s Kaecilius beat the titular villain.

How did DC beat Marvel?? IMO there wasn’t a DC movie, this year, that was great – they all felt like money rackers that were made for the hype as they all felt a bit sloppy and meh

Yeah, I was also shocked at this result! I agree with you about DC’s live-action movies this year. On the other hand, they did have a good year for TV and a decent one for their animated movies. Still, Marvel was solid in every area so I think they deserved to win.
