Ant-Man
Appearances: Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp
People scoffed at the idea of an Ant-Man movie at first but Paul Rudd ensures that the miniature man gets our affection. His giddy excitement at working with his childhood hero is the comic highlight of Civil War. We’re excited to see Ant-Man and the Wasp this July.
Bucky Barnes
Appearances: Captain America: The First Avenger/The Winter Soldier/Civil War, Black Panther (post-credits), Avengers: Infinity War
Steve Rogers’ best bud Bucky has had one of the most complex journeys over the MCU so far. It’s been exciting to watch him morph from WW2 soldier to brainwashed assassin to a troubled ant-hero trying to atone for his past sins.
The Punisher
Appearances: Daredevil, The Punisher
Gun-toting anti-hero Frank Castle was already the highlight of Daredevil season 2, but he really come into his own in The Punisher spin-off. His heartbreaking backstory and extreme methods make him a hugely interesting and tragic anti-hero.
Black Widow
Appearances: Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War
The fact that she’s the only female founding member of the Avengers, and one of the few without powers, shows you just how badass former KGB assassin turned SHIELD agent Natasha Romanoff is. Oh, and we’re still waiting on that solo movie, Marvel!
